Thursday Think Tank has been gathering thinkers in downtown Toronto since 2024 — sixteen-plus nights, more than a thousand people through the door, live debate over artisanal food and drinks two minutes from St. Patrick station. The Society is the next step: same energy, now its own thing, and open to everyone.

Dates are locked; each night's topic is decided by member vote. Members get a seat before tickets open.

Is this just a networking event?

No. It's a conversation, not a room full of business cards. One idea, ninety minutes, everyone in it. You'll meet people — but because you actually talked, not because you swapped LinkedIns.

Do I need to be smart or well-read?

Not even slightly. Curiosity is the only entry requirement. The best nights run on honest questions, not hot takes or credentials — nobody's checking your reading list at the door.

I'm quiet. Will I get put on the spot?

You'll be invited in, never forced. The format is built so no one dominates and no one disappears — you speak when you're ready, and "I'm still thinking" is a perfectly good answer.

What's the vibe, and who's in the room?

High-energy, warm, a little playful — summer, not seminar. A real mix of people from across the city, all 18+, united by liking a good back-and-forth and staying for the drinks after.

Not sure I'll like it — can I try one first?

Yes. Grab a single Thursday for $20, no commitment. If it's your thing, membership gets you all twelve for half the per-night price.

Where is it, and what if I can't make a date?

Downtown Toronto, a two-minute walk from St. Patrick station; the exact spot comes with your ticket. Can't make one? Members roll with the whole season, and single tickets can be passed to a friend.

Is a seat guaranteed?

Rooms are capped at about twenty, so no single night is guaranteed — members get first pick before tickets open, and we’ll flag early if a night’s full. Topics are chosen by member vote, so we can’t promise a specific subject either. This is a community run for love, not profit: come for the room, not a guarantee.

What are the ground rules?

18+, respectful, and off-the-record — what's said in the room stays in the room. Everyone's welcome; no one's there to be lectured, sold to, or judged.
